What to bring.
I have no portfolio at all. Should I still book?
Yes. Roughly half of the students I take on start with nothing formal. Bring sketchbooks, phone photos, anything you have made for yourself rather than for a class.
Can my parents join the call?
They are welcome, and for younger applicants it is usually better. Timeline, commitment, and fees are easier to discuss once with everyone present.
Do you consult in Chinese?
Yes. Consultations and sessions can be conducted in Mandarin or English, whichever is more comfortable.
What happens after the consultation?
You receive a short written summary: an honest read of where your work stands, a suggested track, and a proposed timeline with fees. No obligation to proceed.
